Standard Call Out Rates

Techs in the City are happy to work with all organisations whatever your size and location. Techs in the city predominantly provide computer support in Edinburgh and are flexible; providing on-site IT support, telephone support and remote computer support as needed.

 

Minimum call-out Fee

There is a general fallacy that all IT problems can be solved in 5 minutes. This is only the case when we have come across the same problem in the same set-up previously. 90% of providing a solution is in identifying the true cause of the problem and not just removing the symptoms. Therefore we may spend some considerable time evaluating your problem either on or off-site before applying the solution, which may well result in a 5 minute fix, however the full working solution might be the result of 5 hours work. This is why we have a minimum call-out fee for new and one-off customers.

 

Normally we will book you for a half day or full day's work.

 

Techs in the City charge honestly and fairly. Techs in the City don't charge you for time when we are not actively working on your system but we will charge for all the work we carry out on your behalf.

 

There will be times when we recommend that you buy new hardware as very often upgrading what you have is less cost effective than buying new. This actually makes less money for Techs in the City as re-selling products has a very low margin. However if you want items upgraded we are happy to do so.

1/2 Day £295 + VAT

 

Full Day £560 + VAT
